This is a hands-on casual position suited to someone who has experience working with fresh fruit and vegetables, takes pride in presentation and understands the importance of quality, freshness and stock management.
Key responsibilities
- Cutting, preparing and wrapping fresh fruit and vegetables
- Preparing fresh juices and maintaining juicing equipment
- Stock rotation, replenishment and quality control
- Managing stock levels and assisting with ordering
- Monitoring waste, reducing wastage and maximising product utilisation
- Maintaining attractive, well-stocked produce displays
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and food safety
About you
- Previous experience in fresh produce, supermarket or food preparation environments
- Experience in cutting, wrapping and juicing preferred
- Strong understanding of stock rotation, waste management and fresh produce handling
- Availability for early morning starts
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
