Go Fresh Wholesalers is an independently owned WA fresh produce wholesaler and a supplier of choice for Metcash and FoodWorks retailers. We have been trading for 11 years, and with several of our original team members still with us today we are looking to add to the family !
The role
We are looking for a Fresh Produce Specialist / Merchandiser to work hands-on with the independent supermarkets we supply across WA. It is mainly Monday to Friday. The role includes some regional travel to visit country stores.
What you'll do
- Be the face of Go Fresh in store, building strong relationships with store owners and produce teams
- Help stores lift their fresh produce displays, merchandising and presentation
- Be hands-on and have the ability tailor your communication style to train store staff
- Grow sales with our current retailers while managing margin
- Spend one day a week canvassing new business
About you
- Extensive fresh produce management experience, ideally in independent retailers
- A people person with a friendly, can-do attitude
- Creative flair and a strong eye for detail
- A current driver's licence
