The Job:

- Lead and manage all site geology activities, including grade control drilling, geological mapping, sampling and interpretation.
- Develop, maintain and continuously improve geological models and orebody interpretation to support mine planning and production.
- Oversee grade control processes to maximise ore recovery, minimise dilution and optimise mine-to-mill outcomes.
- Manage geological reconciliation processes and provide regular reporting on resource performance and production outcomes.
- Lead, coach and mentor geology personnel to achieve high performance and professional development objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across geology systems, processes and reporting frameworks.
- 15/13 roster FIFO any major Australian city

You:





- Minimum 8 years' mining geology experience.
- Demonstrated experience in open pit mining operations.
- Proven leadership experience managing geology teams and contractors.
- Strong experience in geological modelling, grade control, reconciliation and orebody interpretation.
- Advanced proficiency in Leapfrog and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience managing geological databases, QA/QC systems and resource models.
- Strong technical reporting, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong safety leadership and commitment to company values.
- Highly developed leadership, coaching and mentoring capabilities.
- Strategic thinker with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Results oriented with a focus on operational excellence.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
