Start your engineering career in mining services

Innovative Mining Services designs and delivers equipment and engineering solutions for the mining industry. We’re looking for an engineering graduate who is organised, comfortable with technology and keen to learn how projects move from proposal through to delivery.

You’ll work alongside experienced mechatronics, mechanical and electrical engineers, and skilled tradespeople on exciting projects for clients in Australia and around the world.

This role offers broad exposure to our engineering and project teams. Initially, a substantial part of the work will involve project coordination and administration: keeping project information, documents, actions, timesheets and invoicing on track. As you build experience and demonstrate your capability, the role may grow to include more engineering and technical project work. The timing and scope of that development will depend on your progress and business needs.

What you’ll do

- Set up and maintain project records, registers and documentation.

- Track project milestones, deliverables, actions and deadlines.

- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and record actions.

- Help collect and check timesheets and project labour allocations.

- Support project invoicing, progress claims and cost tracking.





- Assist with quotations and tender submissions.

- Coordinate project travel, mobilisation and close-out tasks.

- Work with engineers, sales, manufacturing and operations to keep information moving.

- Gradually take on engineering and technical project responsibilities as your skills develop.

What we’re looking for

- A recent graduate, or someone close to completing a degree, in mechanical, mechatronic, industrial or a related engineering discipline.

- Solid organisation and attention to detail.

- Clear written and verbal communication.

- A proactive approach: you follow up, take ownership and ask questions when something is unclear.

- The ability to manage several tasks and deadlines at once.

- An interest in mining, engineering, manufacturing or project delivery.

Previous industry experience is not essential. A practical mindset and willingness to learn matter most.
