The University of Cambridge invites applications for a full time 3-year PhD studentship focusing on NLP, big data and disease alerting. The Panda Alert project will develop distributed semantic models to identify adverse health event reports in real-time.

Based in the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics (DTAL), the successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary team and contribute to cutting-edge research, publications, and collaborations within the DREAM CDT network.
