This is a hands-on, outdoor role suited for someone who is reliable, motivated and enjoys working as part of a team. You'll work alongside experienced arborists, assisting with tree pruning, removals and general tree maintenance while helping ensure each job is completed safely and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting arborists with tree pruning, removals and general tree works.
- Clearing branches, leaves and debris from worksites.
- Feeding branches and timber through wood chipper.
- Operating and maintaining equipment when trained and authorised.
- Assisting with chainsaws and other ground based equipment where appropriately trained.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe worksite.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures.
- Working collaboratively with the crew to complete jobs to a high standard.
About you
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Comfortable with manual labour.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Able to follow instructions and work well within a team.
- Willing to learn recent skills and develop within the arboriculture industry.
- A current driver's licence is essential.
- A Truck licence (HR or MR) is preferred but not essential.
