About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated all-rounder to join our small team working across two locally owned, family-run motels in the beautiful Barossa Valley – The Barossa Palms and the Angaston Vineyards Motel.

This is a varied position involving housekeeping, guest services and general motel operations. In addition, if you are interested in styling, events management and photoshoots – the role at Barossa Palms may require this work at times.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work and is happy to help wherever needed.

The position is initially for approximately five to six months during our peak season, with the possibility of ongoing employment for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

- General guest services duties to ensure the guest experience is comfortable and seamless
- Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to a high standard
- Cleaning and maintaining common areas
- Laundry duties, restocking linen and guest amenities
- Greeting guests and assisting with enquiries
- Answering telephone calls and assisting with basic reception duties
- Helping with guest check-ins and check-outs and showing them around the property
- Providing general assistance during busy periods

About You We are looking for someone who:

- Is reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Has a positive attitude and strong attention to detail




- Can work independently and manage their time effectively
- Has good communication and customer service skills
- Is comfortable with the physical requirements of housekeeping
- Is willing to learn basic booking systems and reception procedures
- Has previous housekeeping or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)

Training will be provided for the right person. Hours and Employment The position will initially involve approximately 3-4 days per week, with flexibility depending on occupancy and business needs.

Additional shifts may be available during weekends, holidays and other busy periods.

We anticipate the seasonal position lasting approximately five to six months, with the possibility of longer-term employment for the right candidate.
