? The Role:

We are seeking a warm, approachable, and proactive Haematologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team at Brisbane Specialist Group in Sunnybank and Greenslopes. This opportunity is ideal for a specialist who values clinical independence, multidisciplinary collaboration, and continuity of care within a well-supported private practice environment.

You will have the opportunity to provide specialist consultations for a broad range of benign and/or malignant haematological conditions, depending on your clinical expertise and areas of interest.

Our clinic's established GP referral network, diverse community patient base,



and collaborative intra-referral model provide a strong foundation for developing your private practice, with opportunities to build lasting relationships with referring practitioners and fellow specialists.

You will work closely with an experienced administrative team that supports appointment coordination, patient enquiries, referral management, and day-to-day practice operations, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

This opportunity offers part-time/full-time/sessional consulting arrangements depending on your availability and professional preferences. It is particularly well suited to a Haematologist looking to establish or expand their private consulting practice alongside existing hospital appointments or other professional commitments.

? Essential Skills and Qualifications:

- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP)
- Current specialist registration with AHPRA, or eligibility to obtain specialist registration
- Demonstrated clinical experience in the diagnosis, investigation, and management of haematological conditions, including benign and/or malignant blood disorders
- Strong commitment to patient-centred care, particularly in managing complex and chronic haematological conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish strong relationships with patients, referring GPs, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to coordinated and comprehensive patient care
- Well-organised with strong clinical governance and documentation standards
