An prospect exists for a Head of Department - Mathematics to join us full-time on a 5-year fixed term Position of Responsibility commencing at the start of 2027, with a permanent teaching role with the School.

About the Role

- Provide inspirational leadership of the Mathematics Department in pedagogy, curriculum and assessment across Years 7–12.
- Mentor, coach and develop a high-performing team of Mathematics teachers.
- Design, document and implement curriculum and assessment plans consistent with SACE, ACARA and School requirements.
- Drive innovative and inclusive teaching practices that meet the needs of students across diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Build strong relationships with students, staff and families, reflecting Pulteney’s values and commitment to personalised learning.





About You You are an experienced and inspirational Mathematics teacher with:

- Registration (or eligibility) with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.
- Tertiary qualifications in education with study in Mathematics (postgraduate qualifications desirable).
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching, curriculum design and assessment.
- A leadership style that motivates, empowers and develops others, with sound judgement and integrity.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills and a passion for innovation in education.
