The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has emerged for an accomplished Head of FP&A; to take ownership of strategic financial planning, business performance and commercial insights within a large, complex organisation.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a pivotal role in translating organisational strategy into actionable financial plans, providing the insight, challenge and commercial direction needed to support executive decision-making.

This is far more than a traditional budgeting and forecasting position. We are looking for a commercially astute, forward-thinking finance leader who can connect strategy, financial performance, operational drivers and data to influence how the organisation plans, measures success and makes decisions.

Leading a team of four, you will have the opportunity to build capability, strengthen business partnering and develop a more sophisticated, scalable approach to financial planning and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the organisation's financial planning and performance agenda, ensuring strategic priorities translate into meaningful business outcomes.
- Work closely with senior leadership to provide commercial insight, challenge assumptions and support informed decision-making.
- Shape and enhance the way financial and operational performance is measured, communicated and understood across the business.
- Drive greater sophistication in financial planning, reporting and analytics, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility and commercial outcomes.
- Partner across the organisation to strengthen financial accountability, influence strategic initiatives and support sustainable growth.




- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering commercial curiosity, continuous improvement and a strong business partnering mindset.

About You You will be an established senior FP&A; professional with a track record of operating in complex, commercially demanding environments. You will bring the confidence to engage at Board and executive level, alongside the technical depth and critical thinking required to challenge financial assumptions and identify opportunities for improvement.

Ideally, you will demonstrate:

- Extensive experience leading FP&A;, strategic planning and performance management, ideally within a large or complex organisation.
- Exceptional financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to understand the wider commercial and operational implications of financial decisions.
- Proven experience preparing and presenting Board and CFO-level reporting, translating complex information into compelling commercial narratives.
- Strong business partnering and influencing skills, with the credibility to challenge senior stakeholders and act as a trusted strategic advisor.
- Experience improving planning systems, data architecture, dashboards and reporting processes, with an appreciation of how data flows through an organisation.
- Demonstrated people leadership, with a genuine commitment to developing talent, building high-performing teams and delivering organisational change.
