ABOUT OUR SCHOOL:
St Paul's School is a Pre-Prep to Year 12 Anglican co-educational school where we nurture growth, foster belonging and inspire personal excellence for all students.
At St Paul’s School, we pride ourselves on being a community where everyone feels connected, valued, and supported. We foster a strong sense of belonging, creating an environment that nurtures relationships among students, staff, and families.
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:
St Paul’s School offers a unique opportunity to lead the development of an innovative, whole-school Outdoor Education program across Queensland’s largest co-educational school campus.
Our majestic campus, bordering the South Pine River, encompasses forests, wetlands, woodlands, waterways and a thriving wildlife and koala corridor. With endless possibilities for adventurous learning, including canoeing, mountain bike riding, ropes courses, bushcraft and environmental conservation, the campus offers an extraordinary outdoor classroom - all of this just 25 minutes from the city!
At SPS, we believe learning extends well beyond the four walls of a classroom. Our natural surroundings provide endless opportunities for authentic, hands-on learning that complements and enriches our curriculum, connecting classroom knowledge with real-world experiences. Through exploration, adventure and environmental stewardship, students develop curiosity, confidence, resilience and a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.
We are seeking a passionate, visionary and experienced educator to bring this potential to life. As Head of Outdoor Education (Campus), you will have the opportunity to shape and establish a new,
progressive Pre-Prep to Year 12 program that connects students with nature, builds resilience and character, and inspires a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors. This is more than an Outdoor Education role.
It is an opportunity to build something from the ground up and leave a lasting legacy for generations of SPS students.
