About the role

We are seeking a Hospitality All Rounder to join our team at Pelican Waters Bowls Club Inc in Golden Beach. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and variety in a dynamic hospitality environment. As a Hospitality All Rounder, you will be the backbone of our bar and beverage operations, providing exceptional service across multiple areas of our venue. This role is essential to maintaining the welcoming atmosphere our members and guests expect and deserve.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and serving beverages including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks with accuracy and presentation

- Operating the point of sale (POS) system to process transactions efficiently and accurately

- Maintaining bar cleanliness and organisation, including restocking supplies and managing inventory

- Greeting and seating guests in a warm and professional manner

- Taking food and beverage orders and ensuring prompt delivery to customers

- Clearing and resetting tables promptly and to high standards

- Responding to customer enquiries and addressing any concerns with professionalism and courtesy

- Adhering to health, safety, and food hygiene standards at all times

What we're looking for





- Previous hospitality or bar service experience preferred, though training will be provided for the right candidate

- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices and commitment to duty of care

- Robust customer service skills with a genuine desire to create positive guest experiences

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A neat, professional appearance and positive attitude

- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends

- Reliability and punctuality

- Basic mathematical skills for handling cash and transactions

- Willingness to learn and develop skills in different areas of hospitality service
