HR Operations Manager | 12-Month Contract Sydney | Financial / Professional Services An opportunity is available for an experienced HR Operations professional to join a sophisticated, organization operating within a highly regulated environment.

This is a broad, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being at the centre of HR operations ensuring processes run effectively, controls are strong, and employees receive a high standard of support. You will work across HR operations, employee lifecycle, performance and remuneration processes, recruitment and HR projects.

- Overseeing core HR operations including payroll coordination, onboarding, offboarding, leave, benefits and HR documentation
- Managing HR data, reporting, invoicing and internal controls
- Ensuring HR processes meet regulatory, compliance and employment law requirements
- Supporting annual performance, promotion and remuneration cycles
- Coordinating learning and development initiatives and regional training programs
- Supporting international mobility and individual employee matters




- Coordinating recruitment activity from advertising through to interview administration and follow-up
- Managing vendors and contributing to HR transformation, process improvement and offshoring initiatives
- Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes, controls and operational efficiency

You will ideally bring the following to the position:
- Have Australian experience from financial services, professional services or another regulated environment where accuracy, governance and strong process management are critical.
- Solid HR Operations and/or HR Advisory experience
- Solid understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
- Exposure to Australian employment legislation; APAC experience would be highly regarded
- Strong risk and controls mindset
- Strong on systems capability
- Strong analytical, organizational and stakeholder management skills
