Leading International Freight Forwarder & Customs Brokerage seeking experienced Import Operations Specialist to service Import Customs LCL/FCL/ Airfreight customers. Located in Mascot - close to transport/train. Work in small office with dedicated team and management support. Offering 1-2 days WFH once probation qualified.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- Handle Air & Ocean FCL / LCL / Customs import shipments from PO Placement and management through to delivery and billing.
- Register and review import documentation, chase relevant paper work
- Manage customer accounts and build client relationships
- Ensure Customer satisfaction through effective and efficient responses to customer enquiries, issues, and concerns as well as develop new opportunities in different trade lanes, services.
- Ensure all customer details are maintained and kept up to date.

ABOUT YOU:

- 5+ years Import local Freight Forwarder experience




- 5+ years experience with Cargowise1 - including understanding of workflow (tasks /milestones) and edocs.
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of import operations
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Adaptable
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Relationship building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
