M & Q Equipment are currently seeking an Industrial Spray Painter / Blaster to join our team. M & Q Equipment sell current and used mineral processing equipment. Our purpose built workshops are located in Richlands where all work is to be completed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in operating abrasive blasting equipment.
- Skilled in applying a variety of industrial coatings.
- Forklift License is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Valid Driver’s License is required for reliable transportation to work.

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Conducting abrasive blasting and industrial 2 pack painting using a range of protective coating products.
- Working alongside various team members
- Ability to work independently, including interpreting painting product data sheets and material safety data sheets
- Painting newly fabricated items like motor base, guards, columns, pump frame, pump covers and other general fabrications.
- Performing blasting and recoating of refurbished mechanical equipment such as Gearboxes, Pumps, Crushers, Screens, Valves.
Successful candidate must be self motivated & be able to produce high quality workmanship.
