The Role

We are seeking a Full-Time Information Technology (IT) Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Information Systems Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the hotel's computer systems and technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide support for the hotel's computer systems, hardware, software, and network operations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of IT-related issues, including application support, hardware faults, and peripheral devices.

- Assist in maintaining Microsoft Windows operating systems, Server, networking, and Microsoft Office 365 applications.

- Provide technical support to hotel team members across all departments.

- Assist with the implementation and support of hotel technology systems.

- Prepare reports and maintain accurate IT records and documentation.

- Participate in IT-related projects as directed by the Information Systems Manager.





- Provide out-of-hours phone support when required.

- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company, guest, and business information.

- Comply with all hotel policies, procedures, and workplace health and safety requirements.

Requirements

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.

- Previous experience supporting PC hardware and software.

- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Server, and Microsoft Office 365 applications including Outlook and others.

- Ability to troubleshoot a variety of IT-related issues independently.

- Willingness and flexibility to learn new systems and software applications.

- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

- Professional presentation and commitment to customer service.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment will be highly regarded.
