About the role

Maintain a reliable pipeline of suitable candidates for Strategy's approved workforce needs, with accurate screening, communication and recruitment records. Internal recruitment for SMS, not an external recruitment-agency role. Proposed support-team hire, initially working from home.

Key responsibilities

- Confirm approved vacancies, competencies, roster and site requirements with the coordinator and hiring manager before advertising

- Develop talent pools and advertisements using approved role descriptions; prioritise Bunbury and South West searches for office hires while meeting operational needs

- Screen relevant experience and availability fairly; arrange interviews, authorised references and verification of role-specific credentials and work rights

- Keep candidates informed, record decisions and seek necessary consent for checks; protect personal information and limit access

- Prepare approved offer information and obtain authorised approval before commitments. Hand successful candidates to mobilisation with a complete, traceable record

- Track vacancy progress,



candidate suitability, source effectiveness and obstacles; forecast gaps early and improve recruitment processes

- Manage the approved recruitment process and recommend candidates. Do not promise employment, rates, rosters, exemptions or site access without authorised approval. Escalate suitability concerns, conflicts and incomplete checks

- Do not bypass competency or site readiness checks to fill a vacancy. Communicate safety requirements accurately and manage sensitive information carefully

- Follow approved controls, consult on risks, report hazards, incidents and quality or environmental concerns, and stop or make work protected where required

About you

- Essential: Candidate sourcing and interviewing skills, clear communication, organisation, confidentiality and accurate recruitment-system records

- Desirable: Mining or maintenance recruitment; understanding of trade competencies, FIFO mobilisation and the South West labour market
