What you'll be doing?

- Designing and validating network solutions: Analyse existing IP/MPLS network architectures and services, develop and validate scalable target network designs, and review High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents to ensure solutions align with customer standards, security policies, and design principles.
- Building and testing lab environments: Build and configure lab environments that replicate production scenarios, performing functional, performance, interoperability, and failover testing across Cisco and Juniper routers and switches, DHCP, DNS, Syslog, and BNG services.
- Optimising solution performance: Identify design gaps and recommend optimisation opportunities, validate resiliency, redundancy, and high-availability scenarios,

and ensure solutions consistently meet performance KPIs and SLAs.
- Maintaining documentation and governance: Prepare Golden MOPs, test plans, validation reports, configuration templates, and design acceptance documentation, while supporting customer sign-off and governance activities.
- Supporting pre-production rollout: Ensure solutions are production-ready with minimal deployment risk, and provide rollout support, troubleshooting guidance, and knowledge transfer to implementation teams.

Who are they looking for?

- Strong technical toolkit: Hands-on expertise with IXIA, Spirent, Wireshark, and TCPdump, along with basic automation knowledge using Python, Ansible, or NETCONF/YANG, Cisco ACI, and NSO would be highly valued.
- Protocol and platform knowledge: Solid grounding in BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, and MPLS (L2/L3 VPNs) is important, with knowledge of EVPN/VXLAN considered a plus, alongside hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper platforms.
- Networking fundamentals: A strong understanding of routing, switching, and security architectures, as well as DHCP, DNS, Syslog, and other network services, is key to succeeding in this role.
- Lab validation experience: Proven experience in network lab validation and troubleshooting will help ensure solutions are thoroughly tested before deployment.
- Analytical and collaborative mindset:

A robust analytical and problem-solving approach is valued, along with the ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage stakeholders with confidence.
- Communication skills: Excellent communication and documentation skills are important for producing clear design and validation records and supporting cross-team collaboration.
- Relevant qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Networking, or Engineering is required, with certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIS, JNCIP, or equivalent IP networking certifications considered a strong advantage.
- Industry experience: Around 6 to 10 or more years of experience in IP networking is sought, with a strong background in network design, lab testing, and solution validation.

Why you should consider this opportunity? Our client offers an attractive remuneration package and other benefits, such as:
