The Role - A Day in the Life of a Jobs Advisor.

Every day is different in this role. You'll work with a diverse range of individuals, providing personalised support and guidance to help them move closer to employment and career goals.

As a Jobs Advisor, you will:

- Build positive and supportive relationships with customers
- Manage your own caseload of customers and provide ongoing guidance
- Deliver individual and group-based support sessions
- Prepare customers for employment opportunities and referrals to activities that build employability skills
- Work towards agreed performance outcomes and targets
- Help customers identify strengths, overcome barriers and achieve sustainable employment outcomes

Criteria for Success

We're seeking someone who is:

- A strong communicator who enjoys working with people from all walks of life
- Organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Motivated by achieving goals and delivering positive outcomes




- Confident building relationships and providing exceptional customer service
- Resilient, proactive and solutions-focused

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Customer service skills and/or experience
- A desire to achieve outcomes and meet KPIs
- Certificate IV in Employment Services (or willingness to obtain)
- A current, clear National Police Check
- A current QLD Blue Card
