You will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately
- Identifying products using part numbers, descriptions and physical characteristics
- Checking product codes, quantities and specifications before dispatch
- Preparing and labelling orders for courier collections
- Working efficiently to meet daily dispatch deadlines, including the 8:30 am morning courier collection
- Receiving, checking and unpacking incoming stock
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Putting stock away in designated locations
- Assisting with stocktakes and inventory control
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-organised warehouse
About you
- Have excellent attention to detail,
particularly when working with similar product codes and descriptions
- Be accurate and methodical when picking and packing orders
- Be able to work efficiently under time pressure while maintaining accuracy
- Understand the importance of meeting customer and courier deadlines
- Be reliable, punctual and ready to start work at 8:00 am
- Be organised and able to prioritise daily tasks
- Be comfortable working independently once trained
- Be willing to ask questions when unsure rather than guessing
- Have valuable communication skills and work well in a small team
- Be physically capable of performing normal warehouse duties
