About the role

Kitchen Garden At Rodney's is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to join our hospitality team in Pialligo, ACT. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst contributing to the smooth operation of our kitchen. We are looking for someone for Thursdays and Fridays 10am till 5pm.

What you'll be doing

- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Organising and storing food items and kitchen supplies in designated areas
- Supporting the kitchen team in a fast-paced workplace during service times
- Taking direction from senior kitchen staff and following established kitchen procedures and safety protocols
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and health and hygiene regulations
- Reporting any kitchen maintenance issues or concerns to management

What we're looking for

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a hospitality environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle manual tasks
- Reliability and punctuality




- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
