Warehouse Team Leader – Logistics & Warehousing
H People is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound freight and wharf cartage activities at a Brisbane facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who can drive productivity, maintain high safety standards and lead a team to deliver strong operational and customer outcomes.
The Opportunity Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will take responsibility for daily warehouse activities, team performance and the efficient coordination of workloads and resources.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound and wharf cartage activities.
- Lead, motivate and develop warehouse staff to achieve operational targets and customer KPIs.
- Coordinate workloads, labour and resources to maximise productivity.
- Maintain workplace health and safety standards and ensure compliance with procedures.
- Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised warehouse environment.
- Liaise with internal teams, customers and stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
- Drive continuous improvement across warehouse processes and systems.
- Support staff performance management, training and development.

About You

- Previous experience leading or supervising a warehouse or logistics team.
- Strong understanding of warehouse, freight or supply chain operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- CargoWise EDI experience highly regarded.
- Certificate III or IV in Logistics, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong commitment to safety, efficiency and continuous improvement.
