- From $67.50 plus super per standard session, covering 1.5 paid hours.
- Initially 1–5 coaching hours per week, plus paid setup and pack-down time.
- Weekday afternoon sessions from approximately 3pm, generally one coaching hour per day.
- Potential for additional sessions and more hours per day as programs grow.

What you’ll do You’ll lead engaging after-school football sessions where children stay active, learn through games and feel that they belong.

Your responsibilities include

- Delivering small-sided games and challenges that develop football skills, confidence and decision-making.

- Adapting activities so children of different abilities can participate, experience success and be challenged.
- Encouraging children to think for themselves, try new ideas and support their teammates.
- Setting up,

packing down and transporting coaching equipment.
- Communicating positively and professionally with parents and the academy.

We provide coaching frameworks and resources, with room to adapt activities to suit your players.

About you

- Can confidently manage a group independently and create a safe, welcoming environment.
- Brings energy, patience, creativity and a sense of humour.
- Understands coaching through games and is open to learning, reflecting and improving.
- Is reliable, organised and available for regular weekday afternoon work from approximately 3pm.

Highly regarded

- A Physical Education or Health and Physical Education degree, or current studies towards one.
- Teaching or education experience involving primary school-aged children.
- Football Australia coaching qualifications or relevant junior coaching experience.
- Familiarity with Game Sense, Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) or constraints-led coaching.

You don’t need to know every coaching framework. We value practical experience,

sound judgement and a willingness to develop. Practical requirements

- A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable car suitable for transporting football equipment.
- A valid WA Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one and meet the applicable requirements before commencing child-related work.
- Ability to provide evidence of previous first aid or first responder qualifications or training when requested.

Why join us? We believe children should have fun, learn to think for themselves, enjoy a challenge and feel a sense of belonging.

You’ll join an academy that values positive coaching, supports your development and trusts you to bring your strengths to each session.
