We're currently looking for an extremely proficient, Lead Java Developer to join our financial services client in Sydney on a 6 month, rolling contract to help them build their cloud-native platform. /n The role will encompass both hands-on engineering & leadership; you will lead technical delivery from initial system design through to development and production, while mentoring more junior devs and enhancing the team’s overall capability and productivity. /n Responsibilities: /n /n

- Robust Core Java skills

/n

- Experience developing high-performing APIs in Java/Spring Boot within scaled, cloud environments.

/n

- Strong hands-on experience on Spring/Spring Boot

/n

- Solid understanding of Microservices architecture

/n

- Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS)

/n

- Extensive experience with version control tools like Git, Bitbucket,



CI/CD, code review

/n

- Experience with Infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform is essential - greenfield environment
