About the role

Our client is a reputable contract food packing business based in Clayton seeking packaging Machine Operators to run vertical and horizontal filling machines. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will operate packaging machinery and support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

- Machine Operation including form, fill and seal machines on vertical or horizontal packaging machines
- Packing of raw materials
- Weighing of ingredients
- Cleaning and maintaining manufacturing equipment
- Keeping your workstation tidy

About you

- Minimum 2-3 years experience within a production environment in the Food Manufacturing or Pharmaceutical industry




- Machine operating experience with filling, forming or sealing
- Previous experience with LCD touchscreens
- Good documentation skills
- A proactive, can-do attitude
- A willingness to take instructions
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team workplace as well as independently
- Safety consciousness and ability to work in a busy environment
- Full working rights (Australian Citizen or Permanent resident)
