About the role
We are seeking a Management Accountant to be based at our Armidale office located at the University of Recent England. This is a part-time role with flexibility for 2 to 4 days per week and hybrid working options. The role covers monthly management account preparation and reporting, preparation of year-end accounts, preparation of invoices in accordance with relevant research agreements, management of statutory and non-statutory compliance (Payroll Tax, BAS, PAYG, Insurances), and budget preparation.
Skills and experience
This role will ideally suit an experienced accountant. Our work is dependent on a range of information systems, so proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 would be advantageous along with MYOB.
You will be able to operate effectively in a small team, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders. You will have excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
