Your new role

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Manufacturing Cost Accountant will be responsible for delivering accurate costing, budgeting and commercial insights to support business decision-making across the manufacturing operation.

Key responsibilities will include

- Managing product costing and maintaining costing models across the manufacturing site
- Analysing raw material, labour and production variances to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Providing meaningful financial analysis and reporting to operational stakeholders
- Partnering closely with production and site management teams to improve performance and profitability
- Assisting with month-end reporting, inventory analysis and reconciliations
- Monitoring manufacturing KPIs and delivering actionable insights
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role,



you will be a commercially minded finance professional with strong manufacturing accounting experience.

You will ideally possess

- Previous experience in a Manufacturing Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst or similar role
- Proven experience in product costing, inventory accounting and variance analysis
- Solid budgeting, forecasting and financial planning capability
- Demonstrated business partnering experience with operational stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability
- Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
- Manufacturing, FMCG or production industry experience is essential
- CA/CPA qualification or working towards qualification will be highly regarded
