As the Marketing & Student Recruitment Officer, you will play an important role in promoting Austra College, building recruitment partnerships and increasing student enrolments. This is a Perth-based role requiring frequent travel to meet education agents, prospective students, community groups and recruitment partners.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with education and migration agents across Australia
- Actively engage with the Bhutanese student community and relevant recruitment networks
- Promote Austra College's courses and student opportunities to prospective students and education agents
- Conduct regular visits to education agents, recruitment partners and promotional events
- Create content for social media and work with IT team; share and promote online
- Identify new student recruitment opportunities and develop strategies to achieve enrolment targets
- Respond to prospective student and agent enquiries professionally and promptly
- Organise and participate in information sessions, education exhibitions, promotional activities and networking events
- Support digital marketing campaigns, social media promotions and student recruitment initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of agent communications,
recruitment activities, enquiries and prospective students
About you
- Native-level spoken and written proficiency in Dzongkha (Bhutanese language), with the ability to communicate confidently with Bhutanese students and community members
- Excellent English language skills
- A current valid driver's licence
- Your own reliable car, suitable for regular work-related travel
- Willingness and availability to travel frequently within Perth and interstate when required
- Solid interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills
- A confident, outgoing and professional personality
- The ability to work independently, manage appointments and achieve recruitment targets
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email and social media platforms
