Western Work Force are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a short-term structural and piping project on an FMG site. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified engineer with relevant project experience who is available to mobilise immediately.

The position will operate on a 2:1 FIFO roster, with the initial contract running through to January 2027 and the possibility of further work for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide mechanical engineering support across structural and piping works.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor site activities to ensure works are completed in accordance with engineering standards, quality requirements and project specifications.
- Coordinate with construction teams, supervisors and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct site inspections and assist with quality assurance, inspections and defect resolution.
- Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with relevant safety procedures and site requirements.
- Track project progress and assist with technical reporting and documentation.

Skills & Experience:





- Mechanical Engineering degree or relevant engineering qualifications.
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical engineering, ideally across structural and piping projects.
- Previous experience working on mining or heavy industrial projects.
- Current FMG site induction is essential.
- Solid understanding of engineering drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
- Must be available to commence immediately and commit to a 2:1 FIFO roster.
