Abcor Pty Ltd, located in the Melbourne Northern Suburbs are seeking mechanicalengineering technicians experienced in the use of CAD/CAM software to generateCNC machining programs to join a dynamic team. There are Full time permanentpositions.
Key Responsibilities
· Create detailed 2D and 3D models and drawings and specifications using CAD/CAM software.
· Transfer computer generated CAM programs to computer-controlled machine tools.
· Validate parts as they are manufactured.
· Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during the development and production phases.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience To qualify for this position, you will have
· A diploma or higher in an engineering discipline or equivalent or relevant experience
· Minimum 5 years’ experience
· Thorough knowledge and experience in using CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, Delcam Powermill, Solidworks
· Experience in troubleshooting and the operation of computer-controlled machine tools such as milling machines, lathes and wire cut EDM machines.
· Haas experience is highly regarded.
Remuneration/Salary
$78, 000 to $88,000 per annum
Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates. To be discussed with the successful applicant.
