Join a leading Australian power generation company specialising in the design, engineering, and manufacture of custom generator systems. We're seeking a skilled Sheetmetal Worker to join our Pakenham Production Team, fabricating high-quality components and assemblies for our acoustic enclosures.
Key responsibilities
- Fabricating sheetmetal components from mild steel and stainless steel
- Operating guillotines, press brakes, rollers, and other sheetmetal machinery
- Assembling and fitting components to meet engineering drawings and specifications
- Working to Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) and engineering drawings
- Participating in weld testing and qualifications as required
- Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
About you
- Trade-qualified Sheetmetal Worker or significant relevant experience
- Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Competent with MIG/TIG welding on light to medium gauge mild and stainless steel
- Experience in operating guillotines, press brakes, rollers, and other sheetmetal machinery and tooling
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Positive, team-focused attitude with good communication skills
