Full-time, Hybrid | Regulatory & Migration Team The Wavelength Group is a specialist healthcare workforce solutions provider. We place doctors and other health professionals through Wavelength Medical Recruitment, and senior leaders internationally through Ccentric Executive Search. Our HQ is in Surry Hills, Sydney, but we operate nationally and internationally.
Our Regulatory & Migration Services (RMS) team supports all migration and regulatory activity associated with our international placements. It is also a profit centre in its own right, working for individuals and healthcare employers on a billable consulting basis.
Essential requirements
Applications that do not meet all of the following will not be considered:
- Current OMARA registration
- At least 3 years’ post-registration experience as a migration agent
- Based in Australia
- Available full time. This is an in-house role, not one that can run alongside your own practice.
What the role involves
- Managing a caseload of temporary and permanent skilled visa applications, from assessment through to lodgement
- Working exclusively in healthcare, including aged care, allied health, nursing and private hospitals. You will develop deep knowledge of one sector’s regulators, registration requirements and timeframes, rather than spreading yourself across every visa type and industry.
- Building relationships with HR managers, Medical Directors and Practice Managers, and identifying further registration and migration work as it arises
You will not be building a client base from scratch. Our executive search practice, our doctor recruitment teams and our consulting partners all refer work into RMS, giving you a steady flow of employers and candidates who already need this expertise. Over time, we would expect you to develop your own pipeline as well. What you get
