About the Role

As our Chery New Car Sales Consultant, you'll be the primary point of contact for customers exploring, purchasing, and taking delivery of a new vehicle. You'll guide them through every step of the journey — from first enquiry to finance, aftermarket options, and beyond — while working toward your own sales targets and being a valued part of a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

- Be the main point of contact for customers throughout the recent vehicle sales process
- Greet customers professionally and give every one of them your full attention
- Guide customers through vehicle selection, test drives, trade-ins, finance, and aftermarket options
- Develop genuine product expertise across the range you sell
- Negotiate deals that work for both the customer and the dealership
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales documentation
- Work collaboratively with the wider sales, finance, and aftermarket team

What We're Looking For

- The right attitude — positive, coachable, and driven to succeed (experience can be built, attitude can't be taught)
- Resilience — the ability to handle rejection and bring the same energy to every customer




- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Genuine care for people, and the ability to build rapport across a diverse range of customers
- Self-motivation — you don't need someone checking in to know the job is getting done
- A team-first mindset — success here means the whole department wins, not just you
- Experience in a customer-facing or sales role (automotive highly regarded, but not essential)
- Strong organisational skills and comfort with CRM / DMS systems
