About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, detail-driven Operations Assistant to join our Ballarat team on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll support day-to-day operations by helping ensure our crews are compliant, organised and ready to work across multiple client sites. Working closely with supervisors, subcontractors, clients and internal teams, you’ll play an important role in keeping operational activities running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance records are aligned with project requirements.
- Liaise with clients to confirm bookings, job details and any follow-up to ensure a high level of service delivery.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager on asset and people utilisation, maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Provide day-to-day operational support to supervisors and crews,



helping maintain clear communication across teams.
- Help identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Assist the Finance Team with operational documentation and follow-up.

What You’ll Bring

- Experience in operations or project administration.
- Experience in construction, transport, manufacturing or a similar heavy industry will be highly regarded.
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive team-first approach.
- Confidence working with internal teams and external stakeholders.
