We are seeking an experienced and reliable Painter to join our team.
Based around Rockhampton, QLD, you will be involved in a range of commercial construction, refurbishment and fit-out projects across QLD.
We are looking for a hands-on tradesperson who takes pride in their workmanship, can work independently and consistently delivers high-quality finishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete internal and external painting works across commercial sites.
- Prepare surfaces, including sanding, filling, patching and priming.
- Apply paints, coatings and finishes to a professional standard.
- Undertake touch-ups, repairs and final finishing works.
- Assist with general painting and site preparation requirements.
- Work alongside site supervisors, contractors and other trades.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Complete allocated works within agreed project timeframes.
About You To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Proven experience in commercial painting.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques.
- Experience working on construction, refurbishment or fit-out projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport.
- A valid White Card
- Availability to commence immediately.
