Are you an experienced dental professional who enjoys a mix of patient care and front office responsibilities? Maven Dental Robina is looking for a skilled Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our friendly team!
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident managing reception operations while also being comfortable assisting chairside. We’re looking for a true all-rounder who can help deliver an exceptional patient experience both at the front desk and in the surgery.
Job Description
This is a blended Dental Assistant and Receptionist position, offering an initial 2–3 days per week, with the potential for additional hours from early January.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing front desk operations, including patient bookings, appointment scheduling and enquiries.
- Supporting patient conversion and understanding treatment plans to help patients proceed with recommended treatment.
- Providing a welcoming and professional experience for patients.
- Assisting clinicians chairside and supporting the smooth running of daily clinical operations.
- Coordinating appointments and helping maintain an efficient practice workflow.
- Supporting the wider team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 3 years’ dental industry experience.
- Strong dental reception and front office skills.
- Experience with appointment scheduling, patient conversion and treatment planning.
- Confidence managing day-to-day reception operations.
- Current practical chairside Dental Assisting skills and the ability to comfortably move between reception and clinical duties.
- A friendly, organised and proactive approach, with a genuine passion for patient care.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a busy dental practice.
Please note: This is a blended Dental Assistant / Receptionist role. Applicants must be comfortable and experienced in both front office and chairside duties.
