Do you want to be part of a small, dynamic team doing inspiring work in the events industry? This is a hands-on bookkeeping contract you can mostly do from home, with occasional in-person catch-ups in Sydney CBD.

About the role

You'll deliver day-to-day bookkeeping services across three related businesses, with regular check-ins with our CEO and liaising with our external accountant.

Key responsibilities

- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Payroll processing and superannuation for our staff
- BAS and GST preparation, working with our external accountant
- Monthly reporting and month-end processes
- Cash flow tracking
- General finance and office admin
- Ad hoc projects as needed

About you

- Sydney-based,



with an ABN and Australian work rights
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience, ideally in an Australian SME
- Confident in Xero (Salesforce experience is a bonus)
- Solid knowledge of BAS, GST and payroll
- Organised, accurate and a good communicator, comfortable juggling multiple businesses
- Bookkeeping or accounting qualification, or BAS Agent registration, preferred but not essential
