About the role

SAINT RICHARDS is seeking a talented EXPERIENCED Creative Colourist/Stylist to join our team in Balmain , preferred to have a exsiting clientele and able to take on new clients too.

This is a full-time or Part time position offering the opportunity to work in a agile, creative environment where your artistic vision and technical expertise will be valued and celebrated. You will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional hair colouring and styling services to our discerning clientele, whilst contributing to the reputation SAINT RICHARDS has built as a leader in creative hair design and colour innovation.

What you'll be doing

- Providing expert hair colouring services, including bespoke colour consultations, colour correction, balayage, highlights and creative colour techniques

- Delivering high-quality styling services tailored to individual client needs and preferences

- Conducting thorough client consultations to understand requirements, assess hair condition and recommend appropriate treatments

- Maintaining meticulous standards of hygiene and salon protocols across all treatments

- Staying current with the latest colour trends, techniques and product innovations within the hair and beauty industry

- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals

- Collaborating with the wider salon team to create an inspiring and supportive working environment

- Contributing to the creative direction and vision of SAINT RICHARDS through your artistic expertise

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a professional colourist and/or stylist within a salon environment

- Advanced technical knowledge of colour theory, application techniques

- Demonstrated expertise in a range of colouring services, including corrective and creative colour work





- Strong communication and consultation skills with the ability to translate client vision into reality

- Have an exsiting clientele

- Relevant qualifications or certifications in hairdressing and colouring (or equivalent demonstrated experience)

- 5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE on salon floor

- Passion for continuous learning and professional development

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and work between two Salons Glebe/Balmain
