About the role

This is a role where your product knowledge and customer focus make a real difference every day, supporting technicians and retail customers to get the right parts, every time.

Your days will include

- Identifying and supplying the correct parts for a wide range of vehicles, giving you exposure to diverse makes and models
- Serving both trade and retail customers over the counter and by phone, building relationships that keep people coming back
- Raising purchase orders and invoices accurately, so the whole workshop runs smoothly
- Receipting stock and maintaining an organised parts department that the whole team can rely on
- Working closely with the service and sales teams, putting you at the centre of dealership operations
- Following up on parts orders and keeping customers informed, making sure no one is left waiting without an update

About you You bring a genuine interest in vehicles and a customer-first attitude that makes the parts department a place people enjoy dealing with.

More about you

- Experience as a Parts Interpreter is highly regarded, though Wakeling Automotive genuinely welcomes trainees who are keen to learn
- A working knowledge of parts cataloguing systems or dealer management software will set you up for success from day one
- Strong communication skills mean customers and colleagues alike find you easy to work with




- Attention to detail keeps stock accurate and orders error-free
- A current driver's licence is required for this role
- You take pride in your work and understand that getting the right part to the right person on time matters
