With two growing locations, we are looking for a passionate mental health clinician to join our skilled and welcoming team.

About You

You will be a fully qualified and registered Psychologist, Mental Health Social Worker or Mental Health Occupational Therapist, who is eligible for a Medicare provider number. You will be passionate about working with people experiencing eating disorders and body image difficulties with excellent rapport building and client engagement skills.

Your Skills & Responsibilities (Required):

- Full registration / membership of the relevant regulatory body (Psychologists & OTs - Full AHPRA registration without restrictions; Social Workers - Accredited Mental Health Social Worker as recognised by AASW).
- Medicare provider eligibility (compulsory);
- Postgraduate qualifications;
- Professional indemnity insurance and Working with Children's Check;
- ABN and ability to provide own equipment (laptop computer);
- Interest and enthusiasm for the eating disorder and body image field and a commitment to undertake training to in evidence based approaches;
- Values that align with the Health At Every Size framework and a therapeutic style that is trauma informed, inclusive and embraces diversity;
- Experience with adolescents and families will be highly desirable;
- A conscientious, motivated qualified with highly developed written and verbal communication skills and stringent record keeping abilities;

Highly Regarded Skills and Experience (Desirable):
- Experience working in a CAMHS/CYMHS/ELMHS setting;
- Experience working with children, adolescents and families;
- Experience treating eating disorders & body image concerns;
- Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC) status will be highly regarded;
- Private practice experience and understanding of the Medicare referral pathways and billing arrangements.

Please note - this role is not suitable for provisional psychologists who are undertaking postgraduate studies and/or internship programs and are yet to obtain full registration with AHPRA.
