About the role

Join Ringers Western and bring your payroll expertise to an iconic Australian brand. We're looking for an organised, detail-focused Payroll Officer to deliver accurate, timely fortnightly payroll for approximately 300 employees. Based at our Helensvale head office, you'll work closely with our People and Finance teams, using Employment Hero and NetSuite to support payroll processing, reporting and employee enquiries.

Key responsibilities

- Process fortnightly payroll for approximately 300 employees.
- Review timesheets, leave, allowances, overtime and payroll changes for accuracy.
- Maintain employee payroll records, including current starters, changes to employment conditions and terminations.
- Apply relevant awards, employment agreements and payroll requirements.
- Calculate and process superannuation, PAYG withholding and other deductions.
- Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations, supporting Finance with payroll journals and month-end requirements.




- Manage Single Touch Payroll reporting and assist with end-of-financial-year processes.
- Respond to employee and manager payroll enquiries professionally and confidentially.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and data accuracy.

About you

- Previous experience processing end-to-end payroll for a similar-sized workforce.
- Working knowledge of Australian payroll requirements, awards, superannuation and taxation.
- Experience with Employment Hero and NetSuite is highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and confidence using Excel.
- Excellent time management and the ability to meet regular payroll deadlines.
- A practical, approachable communication style and commitment to employee service.
- Sound judgement when handling sensitive and confidential information.
