We are currently seeking a Rights of the Terminally Ill Pharmacy Manager who is enthusiastic and motivated to join our multi-disciplinary Rights of the Terminally Ill project team. Rights of the Terminally Ill project team The implementation team is a multidisciplinary team established to implement Voluntary Assisted Dying (Rights of the Terminally Ill) services across the Northern Territory. The team is responsible for delivering key workstreams including governance and policy, model of care development, care navigator and pharmacy service establishment, workforce education and training, communication and engagement, and data and digital systems. Key roles include the Project/Change Manager, Medical Lead, Care Navigator Lead, Pharmacy Lead, Data and Digital Systems Lead, Data Architect/Scientist, and Cultural Advisor.

The role

You will develop, implement lead and manage the NT-Wide Voluntary Assisted Dying Pharmacy services to ensure delivery of a high quality, culturally safe and effective pharmacy service.

The introduction of Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) through the Rights of the Terminally Ill (ROTI) framework is a significant health reform in the NT. The role will work with stakeholders across NT Health, the Northern Territory Regional Health Service, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations,



and private providers.

Services Provided By NT Pharmacy Services Include

- Ward based clinical and drug information services
- In-patient and out-patient dispensing
- Manufacturing (non-sterile and sterile)
- Regional pharmacy - providing clinical pharmacy services to remote health centres, their patients and staff living in the outback.
