Role Description The Pharmacy Assistant role is a part time,

position located in Balmain, NSW.

(Indicative days Wednesday ro saturday )

Responsibilities include organizing and maintaining stock, and ensuring medicines and products are correctly shelved and labeled. The role involves greeting customers, assisting with product selection, handling payments, and responding to queries in a professional and friendly manner. The Pharmacy Assistant collaborates with the pharmacy team to uphold quality standards, confidentiality,



and compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications

- Solid customer service and communication skills.
- Experience or aptitude in stock management
- Ability to work effectively in a pharmacy or healthcare environment, following directions from pharmacists and supporting team workflows.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to patient confidentiality and safety.
- Basic computer skills for point-of-sale systems
- Previous experience in community pharmacy or retail healthcare is desirable but not mandatory.

Relevant pharmacy assistant training or willingness to undertake on-the-job learning and professional development.
