We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Goodna Day and Night Pharmacy in Goodna, QLD. We have a part-time role that will see you playing a key supporting role within our busy pharmacy. You will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of our pharmacy operations, assisting our qualified pharmacists with a range of duties.
The role involved shifts on Sunday, Monday and Wednesdays. Some nights until 9.00pm
What you'll be doing
1. Providing excellent customer service and assistance to our patients
2. Handling and processing medication and pharmacy stock in an accurate and compliant manner
3. Assisting with the fulfilment of prescriptions and over-the-counter medication sales
4. Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy
5. Supporting the pharmacists with administrative and operational tasks as required
6. Adhering to all relevant pharmacy policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
What we're looking for
1. Relevant experience as a Pharmacy Assistant, ideally at Level 2 or higher
2. Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping others
3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with patients and the pharmacy team
5.
Proficient in the use of pharmacy computer systems and technology
6. A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively
7. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics
8. Available weekends and some nights
