Are you a friendly, experienced pharmacy assistant ready for your next step? Parkdale Pharmacy is looking for a motivated pharmacy assistant to join our friendly team to support our pharmacists and look after our local beachside community. This role includes the chance to grow into stock control.
What you'll do
- Deliver warm, knowledgeable service to our regular and recent customers
- Recommend OTC and front-of-store products, and refer to the pharmacist when needed
- Receive scripts, process sales and manage phone and click-and-collect orders
- Merchandise shelves and keep the store looking its best
- Grow into stock control: ordering, receiving, invoicing, stocktakes, expiry management and supplier liaison
What you'll bring
- Proven experience in community pharmacy (essential)
- Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy (preferred)
- A willingness to learn and take on stock control responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail and good computer and POS skills
- Discretion with confidential health information
- Availability to work some weekends
