Physiotherapist | Darwin | $90,000-$115,000
Permanent role | Versatile working arrangements | Weekly professional development | Relocation Allowance
Looking for a physiotherapy role where you'll be properly supported, have flexibility around your working hours and build experience across a varied and meaningful caseload?
A growing allied health practice in Darwin is looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join its established team. The practice has an active waiting list and a full caseload waiting for you.
The opportunity
This is a permanent, Monday-to-Friday position combining clinic-based and community work. The approximate split is 60% clinic and 40% community, although this will vary with the caseload.
The caseload primarily supports people living with disability, including NDIS participants, clients with traumatic brain injuries, motor vehicle accident injuries and other neurological presentations. Depending on your interests and experience, there is scope to focus on:
- Adult physiotherapy
- Paediatric physiotherapy
- A mixed adult and paediatric caseload
The practice is open to shaping the caseload around the right physiotherapist. What's on offer
Salary of $90,000-$115,000, depending on experience
- Flexible working arrangements that can accommodate short-term or longer-term changes
- Slightly longer days from Monday to Thursday, allowing a 2:30 pm finish on Fridays
- Weekly professional development every Friday
- Monthly one-to-one meetings with the team leader
- Regular case conferencing, caseload support and opportunities to upskill
- Weekly team meetings over coffee
- An active social committee, team activities and birthday celebrations
- Access to a company vehicle for community appointments
- Reimbursement of $0.99 per kilometre when using your own vehicle
- Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis
The Team
You'll join an established multidisciplinary team that includes the practice director, team leader, practice manager, physiotherapists, allied health professionals and allied health assistants.
Support is built into the week through case conferencing, professional development and regular access to senior clinicians. Development sessions may be delivered internally or by external speakers. About you The practice would ideally like to hear from a Physiotherapist with some professional experience. However, a new graduate with the right attitude and strong interest in the caseload may also be considered and supported.
You will ideally bring
- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
- An interest in disability, neurological, adult or paediatric physiotherapy
- Confidence working across clinic and community environments
- Strong communication and collaborative working skills
- A practical, person-centred approach to client care
- A current driver's licence
