On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Plumber for an immediate start on a major project at Olympic Dam, South Australia.
About the Role
This position offers the chance to join a well-established project team working on one of South Australia's most significant mining operations. You will be responsible for plumbing and polyethylene (Poly) pipe installation and welding activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity.
Working on a 3:1 roster, this role offers ongoing project work with the potential to continue through to the end of the calendar year and beyond.
Essential Requirements
Trade Qualified Plumber
Minimum 2 years post-trade experience
Current Poly Pipe Welding Certification
Olympic Dam Site Induction current or underway
Current Olympic Dam Medical / Health Assessment highly regarded
White Card
Current Driver's Licence
Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Highly Regarded
Previous mining, shutdown, maintenance or construction experience
Experience working in remote or FIFO environments
Experience with HDPE and Poly pipe installation and welding
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
