Next Step Earthworks Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced POSI Operator to join our team. As a POSI Operator, you will be loading soil from residential construction sites and taking it to waste facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Operating POSI track machine
- Communicating effectively with site supervisors, machine operators and other team members to ensure accurate positioning of machinery and materials
- Conducting pre-operation inspections and daily maintenance checks on POSI track machine and truck
- Recording and maintaining accurate logs of jobs
- Adhering to all safety protocols, site-specific procedures and relevant legislation
- Troubleshooting equipment issues and reporting any faults or malfunctions to supervisors
- Working collaboratively with other plant and machinery operators to maintain project schedules
What we're looking for
- Experience operating POSI track machines and positioning machinery in construction or earthworks environments
- HR Road Ranger licenced driver with experience in backing a trailer
- Robust understanding of construction site safety requirements and a commitment to working safely
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with site personnel
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for equipment accuracy and maintenance
- A valid driver's licence
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus in a dynamic work environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing site conditions and project requirements
