Gosnells Family Practice is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our team. As a Practice Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and support to our patients in a collaborative, primary care setting.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting doctors with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures
- Administering vaccinations, injections, and other nursing interventions
- Conducting health assessments, care plans, screenings, and patient education
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with medical protocols
- Coordinating patient care and liaising with other healthcare providers
- Ensuring the clinical environment is well-organised and appropriately stocked
- Contributing to the overall efficiency and smooth operation of the medical practice
What we're looking for
- Both Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses with current AHPRA registration are eligible for this position
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a general practice or primary care setting
- Strong clinical skills and expertise in nursing procedures and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with the healthcare team
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technologies
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
- Flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of a busy medical practice
