Practice Nurse (RN) — Part-Time, 3–4 Days per Week

Join an established, privately owned, AGPAL-accredited general practice in our new, purpose-built premises at Rochedale Health.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse who enjoys providing excellent patient care, takes initiative and works collaboratively with doctors and fellow nurses.

Hours and commencement

This is a permanent part-time position, initially three days per week, with the scope to increase to four days by mutual agreement. Please include your preferred working days and earliest commencement date in your application.

About the role

You will work across chronic disease management and treatment-room nursing, including:

- GP Chronic Condition Management Plans (GPCCMP) and health assessments.

- Immunisations, vaccine management and cold-chain monitoring.

- Wound care and assistance with minor procedures.

- ECG, spirometry and ankle-brachial index assessments.

- Patient education, preventive care and health promotion.

- Recalls, reminders and coordination of patient follow-up.

- Infection prevention, stock management and quality improvement.

Our nurses share clinical and operational duties,



supporting each other as patient demand changes throughout the day.

About you

You will bring

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

- Previous nursing experience in Australian general practice.

- Strong clinical, organisational and communication skills.

- The ability to prioritise work and respond to changing patient needs.

- A collaborative approach, initiative and willingness to learn and share knowledge.

- Experience with Best Practice software, preferably.

Experience in both chronic disease management and treatment-room nursing will be highly regarded.
